It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you all to this great seat of learning. Government Degree College Allochibagh has been serving the students of the remote part of the valley for a decade now. The college is still operating from rented premises but has never shied away from providing the students with the best possible facilities and education. The college library has a rich collection of books of every kind ranging from academic to competitive as well having a good
collection journals and magazines .Apart from regular academic activities the college regularly holds sports and other activities. The college is soon going to shift to its own campus which coming up at beautiful place near SKUAST Hill Research Centre Allochibagh. The construction work for the new campus is going on in full swing and the few prefab huts are under construction. I sincerely hope that this institution has a great role to play in securing the future students of this remote part of the valley.
